On Tuesday, the Board of Education approved the contract for our new superintendent, Dr. Guillermo Lopez. We are incredibly excited to welcome him to the AUSD community. Together, we’re looking forward to building on our strong foundation and working toward new heights for our students, staff, and community.

The Azusa Unified School District Board of Education is proud to announce the upcoming appointment of Dr. Guillermo Lopez as our new Superintendent, pending formal approval at the June 16, 2026, Board of Education meeting.
